We've had several activities this week centered around Halloween. Our first was a trip to the zoo's halloween event. It rained the night we went, but we still had fun. Jacob went as an OSU football player and Becca was Pocahontas.
Jacob left his football in the van because he was too afraid it would get wet! What a cutie pie he is!
We spent Thursday night at the neighbor's house for a bonfire. They brought out the pumpkin carving materials and the girls carved a pumpkin. What a goopy mess! Becca had fun.
We just bought our pumpkins last night and haven't carved them yet. We ended up buying painted pumpkins because that's all Kroger had left. Walmart was out, too, and we didn't want to keep driving from store to store. I think we're just going to cut the top off so we can get the goop out and roast the seeds!
We ended up going trick or treating with some friends we've gone with for the past couple years. The kids had a blast and kept exclaiming, "I got more candy!" Jacob went as a fireman for today's events. We'd also gone to our church's trunk-or-treat event and to our local Walmart for trick or treating. We've got enough candy to last us for two years!
