Happy Fathers' Day!

To all the dads out there, we wish you a very Happy Fathers' Day!

We got to take Daddy to the zoo and then to Lon Sen for some Chinese food! Daddy and the kids love to eat at the Chinese buffet. Mommy ends up eating when we return home. For dinner tonight, we had both sets of parents over. We made a roast for Grandma Grossman and Mommy to eat and the rest of the adults ate Sausage and Peppers, another recipe from recipezaar.com that we adjusted for Matt's taste. They all really liked it. Here's the recipe as we made it:
1 Green Pepper
1 Red Pepper
1 Yellow Pepper
2 Med. Sweet Onions
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
2 lbs. Hot Links Sausages(Johnsonville - they have jalapenos & red pepper flakes in them)
Scallions (1 bunch)
1 Loaf Italian Bread

Slice the onions & Peppers.

Cut the scallions into one inch pieces

Cut the Sausages into 1 inch pieces and fry in the olive oil until slightly browned.

In a wok, cook the peppers and onions until the onions are translucent (about 5 mins).

Salt and Pepper the onions & peppers as desired.

Combine the sausages into the peppers and onions. Cover and simmer about 15 mins - until the sausage is cooked.

Add in the scallions and stir it up.

Serve over slices of Italian bread.

Try it out and let us know what you think of it.

Matt really enjoy
