Another Busy Weekend

This was yet another crazy weekend for us. Friday, Becca's school had their community fall festival right after school got out. Unfortunately, it rained nearly all day Friday, including throughout the festival. Thus, there wasn't much I was going to let the kids do outside. They did get to ride the train and then do a couple inflatables. However, the inflatables were nice and wet so their clothes got a good soaking.

Friday night, Jacob had his follow-up sleep study (post-surgery) to see if it helped any. This was probably the worst of the three from Mommy's sleep perspective, but we don't want to make any assumptions about what that means for the results. It will be 2-3 weeks until we hear anything. Becca was happy because she got to stay overnight at Grandma and Grandpa Reynolds' house.

Saturday, there was a festival at our local YMCA. It was a fundraiser for building a community playground. It was still pretty rainy, so most of the events were inside. However, the weather did break for a little bit and the kids got to take a ride. This is the first airplane ride for both of them! They enjoyed it quite a bit, although Becca was getting pretty bossy about which plane they were going to ride next.

We watched the OSU game Saturday night -unfortunately, the Buckeyes didn't really show up for the game. It was a disappointing night. Jacob fell asleep shortly after 4:00 and didn't get up until 6:00 this morning!! How can a child sleep so long!?!

This morning, both kids wanted to dress up for church. Since we had some extra time, we went outside for a photo shoot. The kids love to pose for pics for me, but sometimes don't hold their position long enough! These last few pics are from our photo shoot.

I only wish I knew other poses to use for them. I always tend to take the same picture.

The kids really do love each other :)

We did get a couple different poses. I really liked this one. It looks like she's being ornery as always! What a cutie!
