Back Home Again in Indiana

Good evening!

It is great to be back home again in Indiana! We took the extended weekend and headed to Columbus OH. It's always fun to head to Buckeye country!

We stayed at Matt's aunt & uncle's house in Grove City and spent the weekend with them.
Friday afternoon, the kids & I drove down to GC after Becca's party for her last day of school. Matt had been in Kansas City for a work conference, so they flew him back into Columbus for us instead of Ft Wayne. That was so nice of them!

We finally got out the Wii Fit and started playing it. It is a lot of fun! We had a blast laughing at each other's inability to control balance. The balance games are fun. They include slalom skiing, ski jumping, tight rope walking, and soccer heading.

Saturday, we headed off to the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. Aunt Carol, Uncle Jim, Annie & Mitch (Matt's cousins) all went with us. It was fun chasing the kids around the zoo and watching the animals.

Sunday, we went to church with the Roricks & went to watch Annie's hockey game after shopping at Polaris Mall. The mall is very nice and upscale, but we didn't find too many good deals :(

This morning, Aunt Carol & I went to a couple stores to get a few things. We headed home around lunch time. Becca was the first one asleep, followed shortly by Jacob. She slept about half way, but Jacob slept nearly all the way! Hopefully we'll get them down easily tonight. They were up late every night of the trip. Mommy & Daddy are tired!
