Hunkered Down

Yes, it is 12:41 am and the kids and I are hunkered down in the basement. I awoke to crashing thunder and pouring rain around midnight and turned the tv on to see if any watches or warnings were out. 2 counties away there were tornado warnings, so I got up and started the move to the basement. The kids were sleeping in the living room, which was nice that I didn't have to carry both of them down 2 flights of stairs. Another plus is that we just got the craft room a lot more organized and there's plenty of room for us all to lay together. (Thanks for your help, Julie D!)

Things have calmed down outside now, but I think we're here for the night. The kids are getting too heavy for me to carry too much!

Jacob did pretty well today. It's still a fight to give him the meds, but he was eating and drinking much better! :)
