Jacob has always had a full face. His cheeks weren't so overly chubby you'd want to pinch them, but they were definitely different than they appear now. I don't know how much weight he has lost since his surgery, but his face just looks like there's not near as much there now. In fact, his whole body does.
Today continued to be one of ups and downs. It is so hard to see him brave enough to take a drink even when he has to know his mouth will hurt after. He begins to whine/cry after nearly every sip he takes. Poor little thing!
Matt is keeping him home from church tomorrow since we are still unsure how he's really doing. We're considering keeping him out of daycare again on Monday - especially if tomorrow isn't better.
I really think I need to reconsider going to med school. If I only had the knowledge to determine what is the best way to treat him.....
